Like your traditional sip and paint, but not! Instead of sitting you down and showing you exactly how to paint a sunset or a sailboat, we're going to leave you a bit more in charge of your creation! There is still a general formula to be followed, so no need to be scared if you don't consider yourself to be artistic.
The best part? We'll be blasting all your favourite emo, metal, and pop punk bands the whole time. Making your painting emo inspired is not strictly necessary, but definitely encouraged!
We'll be using a range of supplies, starting with paint, and then you can get creative and add magazine clippings, yarn, fabric, pen details, and more. This is a really easy going, abstract process and it is so much fun
Event to begin at 7pm and will be approximately 2 hours long
Free tea & hot drinks always included in your ticket at Maya's, plus there is a fridge full of lovely local soft drinks. If you're over the age of 18, you're welcome to BYO cans of something stronger if you like ♥

This event is open to those aged 15 and up. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult

A paint & sip is essentially a really casual, and sometimes boozy, painting class!
There will be a painting chosen for your event, and an instructor will guide you through the painting process step by step
It's a really fun, low stress environment for you to get a bit creative and let loose!

Paint & Sip events are for absolutely everybody. You might not leave with a masterpiece, but you will have fun!

Alcohol is BYO for paint and sip events
Maya's has a tea / hot drinks station that is free for all guests, but we are unfortunately not licenced to sell alcohol
There are several fabulous local coffee shops right next door (open daytime hours), and a tesco express less than 5 minutes walk away

You can cancel for a full refund up to 72 hours before your workshop is scheduled, just send over an email explaining the situation here
Up to 48 hours before your booking, we can reschedule and book you into a future class of the same type (subject to availability of the classes)
No-shows and cancellations within 48 hours of the booking are unfortunately non refundable
