This event is a collaboration with Girls Who Cornwall
Choose some colourful felt, cut it into a funky shape, cut a window for your cutest polaroid picture or photo booth strip, and then decorate away! We'll have needles and loads of thread for some colourful embroidery, and buckets of beads and sequins!
You will be able to make at least one photo frame in the workshop, but you may have time to whizz out a second if you're quick!
We'll be there to show you what you need to know and guide you along the way, but you'll have full creative control.
Girls Who is a group that gets women together to craft, be creative, and make new connections. All workshops at Maya's are great for meeting new people, but that is a specific focus of our collaborations with Girls Who!

This event is open to those aged 15 and up. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult and will be offered a non-alcoholic beverage as an alternative to wine

Girls Who Craft Cornwall is an inclusive environment for women (including trans women!) and gender non-conforming people. It is a safe space where women can connect with others, relax knowing they’re with people they relate to, and that they are safe around.
We would never turn away somebody for being non feminine presenting. Based on the above, if you feel the space is for you, then you are welcome!
