We are partnering with a creative studio in West London, Garanto Art Club, and we'll be hosting simultaneous pen pal junk journaling workshops!
The price includes tickets to both dates, all materials, and postage for your first letter!
This workshop is split into two events, here's how it's going to work:
The first event will be where you build your first letter! How exactly it'll be constructed will be up to you. You might start with collaging the background of your letter and then writing a few bits here and there, or maybe you'll build a pocket to put a written letter in, whatever feels right. The options are endless! You might even choose to include a photo of yourself, or a few bits from your own junk journaling stash for them to use
Then, we'll package up your letters, send them across the country to our partnering studio, and assign you a pen pal!

At the next workshop, your first letter from your new pen pal will be there waiting for you! Open it, see what they have to say, and get working on your next letter. We take care of posting the first letter, and we'll have your pen pal's address for you to post your second letter to when you're ready

When booking, please make sure that you'll be available for BOTH dates to get the full experience
We will provide a huge array of gorgeous craft supplies, including colourful washi tape, a huge variety of scrapbooking papers, rhinestones, stickers, magazines, and even a polaroid camera!
Bring your own junk / photos / sentimental bits, and anything you want to include for your pen pal, but leave everything else to us.
Events are to begin at 6pm and you can go crazy building your letters with our supplies for a full 2 hours. Please arrive 10 minutes early to allow yourself some time to get settled.
Free tea & hot drinks always available at Maya's, and there's a fridge full of fun drinks to choose from too

This event is open to those aged 15 and up. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult

In order for both you and your pen pal to have the best experience, attendance is required for both events (of course if something urgent happens and you can't make it, we'll try to accommodate!)

Because we need to make sure we have an even number of attendees at both events in both locations, so that everybody is assigned a pen pal, tickets for this workshop are non-refundable
